Japan Chubu in Second Life

My group and I have decided to focus our project in the Far East. Focused around old Japan and the culture that used to surround that area. We found a really neat location called Japan Chubu that is based on a real castle located outside of Toyko.

Matsumoto Castle is also known as “Crow’s Castle” because of black exterior. The castle has a lot of history behind it. The fort was originally built on site in 1504. Since then, It has been under the rule of many leaders and clans. he castle was ruled by the 23 lords of Matsumoto representing six different daimyo families (see more on this at the city’s official website, “Matsumoto Welcomes You!“).

In Second Life, this location is owned by a clan that does samurai battles and reenact this ancient culture. I am looking forward to looking into the history and mystery that surrounds this location.
