This class has definitely been an experience, even though we just finished our second week. I have to be honest, like most people in this class I am not one of those “tech people”, so I definitely had my worries. I feel that my technology fear holds me back from getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things. I have to say though, I am glad I took this class because I found myself being placed outside of my comfort zone and really ended up enjoying it! I feel as if the classroom environment factors into this. We have such a large class, yet it feels very intimate, and I feel as if this allows everyone to be comfortable. This whole Second Life game is very new to probably all of us, but I find that we are all learning off one another and helping each other out, bringing us more together. I feel that I have come so far in just two weeks, and I can truly see my own growth in this class. I started out feeling timid of using Second Life, now I look forward to exploring a new world with new people.
